When I started my journey I though that if I exercised more I would magically lose the weight. Boy was I wrong… the one thing that I learned quickly is that the way you eat dramatically effects your health more than anything else.
You cannot OUT exercise your diet.
This is one of the best pieces of advice I ever got. It was also the hardest to learn. Quite simply if you eat badly, no amount of exercise can accommodate for that.
Imagine the amount of work you have to do to burn off one slice of pizza. Now imagine the amount of work you have to do to burn off one BAG of broccoli. Quite different.
So lets learn about how calories differ, what foods have more nutritional value, and other things about nutrition.
