The Most Important Piece of Training Equipment I Own…

 

You may think by the photo that the most important piece of training equipment I own is a treadmill. And to that I would say…your dead wrong. Look closer and you will see what it is, not its not a water bottle with pre-workout mix.

Its a powerful device that has more information at your fingertips than 100s of libraries. Me E-reader, and I use that term generically because there are so many brands, is the best piece of equipment I own.

Every great transformation story starts with a person learning how to transform their body for themselves.

For whatever reason, they find their own motivation and they locate it by learning for themselves how they need to make these changes.

From there a plan formulates and the journey begins. I will say this again because it is very important. I am a huge advocate for learning and discovering things for yourself.

 

And reading is one of the best ways to do this.

 

Read as much as you can about what motivates you. Read books on others about success, motivation, and nutrition. Discover how you want to eat, work out, and what will drive you to do it for the rest of your life.

Understand what works for your body by studying what you read and finding out if it works for you. Read, apply, measure, and evaluate. Use what works, get rid of what doesn’t.

This is where it helps to have some baseline stats to measure from and to track your progress. You can read more about that here.

For me my E-reader has become the most important fitness tool I have. I use it to keep knowledgeable of current nutrition and fitness trends. Read books on motivation and success. And track my food and workouts so I can always improve.

So if you are serious about your transformation then get out there and learn for yourself what will motivate you and keep you on track. Don’t have an E-reader, then there are libraries. The information you need is out there.

Become a student of yourself and it will pay you back ten fold later on in life.

I guess in the end you could say the most important piece of fitness equipment I own is knowledge. If knowledge is increased then so will my fitness level.
